Glenn Gutmacher created one of the world's fist 100% web-based e-sourcing courses in '97 after founding greater Boston's 1st regional career portal, JobSmart, in '96 for a major newspaper chain's TownOnline.com. As Vice President of JobMachine ACES (Arbita Consulting and Educational Services) Glenn is in charge of our Recruitment Development services including the creation of content, development of new curriculum and products, and conducting online events. Glenn is an often-requested speaker on Internet sourcing topics at leading recruiting conferences and associations. Before becoming a partner at JobMachine Glenn was an Internet researcher/sourcer at Microsoft from mid-2005 until late-2008, focusing on competitive intelligence and proactive sourcing. Previously at Getronics North America (2003-05), he contributed meaningfully to two finalist nominations in ERE's 2005 Excellence Awards. Glenn created one of the recruiting industry's first Internet sourcing seminars, later known as Recruiting-Online.com, educating recruiters and sourcers from hundreds of corporations from the Fortune 500 to small TPRs. He was the official Internet recruiting certification instructor in 2000 for SHRM's Northeast Human Resources Association (NEHRA), in 2001 for the Boston Herald's Jobfind.com and in 2002 for the Boston Globe's BostonWorks. Glenn writes the highly-regarded blog, Advanced Online Recruiting Techniques. He is a 1987 graduate of Yale University.
